Scientists at work
Brett found a dead butterfly in the garden yesterday. She was quite sad about it until we allowed her to bring it in the house for her museum [this will be a temporary exhibit!]. The kids set to work this morning studying and identifying it. And if you are wondering, it was a male Red-Spotted Purple butterfly.
How do you know it was a male???
