The homestretch
Looks like nearly everything is ready for June.
Of course the kids were most excited about the grasshopper they met in our new house. They had a few hopping races with their new friend around the family room. Then, to their delight, the little guy begged a free ride.
Brett described the experience as “really tickly.”
When we were ready to go we were sure to “release him into the wild”. Perhaps we’ll see him again hanging out in our neighborhood.
Once back to our home-for-the-next-two-weeks, we celebrated with a popsicle in the backyard.
and an octopus named Beau.
