Readerpillar
I told some of you about our book caterpillar.
Found this idea online and the kids and I made our little friend shortly after Christmas. Neither Brett nor Luke need motivation to read[!] but they have really enjoyed watching their readerpillar grow. Every time we finish a new book, she gets a new segment. And, of course, anything to do with insects is totally cool with Luke.
I think it’s a good thing we have a) a ton of construction paper and b) a pretty huge playroom. I think we’ve created a monster!!
