Webworthy: What a compliment
The running joke in our house is that whenever something really funny is said or done, Aric asks me “Is that blogworthy?” He loves when I say some moment is going to be immortalized for all time in my blog. Then again, just about everything overheard in this house has a good shot, since these kids are two of the goofiest people on earth. I realized that the same criteria also could apply here. Except that this site has way more fans. So, more of you to entertain.
Every day something “webworthy” happens [if I can just remember to write it down so I don't forget by the time I get to the computer]. So today we introduce Webworthy. A collection of stories to make you smile at how cute, giggle at how silly, or spit coffee all over your monitor at how friggin hilarious the Wallner children are. Sometimes, believe it or not, I don’t have my camera with me. But sometimes, what happens around this madhouse cannot be properly captured on film [I mean memory card].
The first installment I give you is a story about Brett and her new pink tights.
Once upon a time a girl named Brett was inordinately excited about wearing tights to school. Ok, it was just this morning. Apparently in her memory this is a first, but I’m sure I had the child in a skirt some time before age five, and we used to live in Wisconsin, so she had to have worn tights before. Anyways, she really thought they were awesome.
Luke came down for breakfast and Brett modeled her new “pink legs!” for his admiration. Luke, bless his heart, took one look and exclaimed
Brett! You look like a princess!
Now that is webworthy.
