They say April showers bring May flowers.  We've only had significant rain one day so far in NC [and that was on our last day of traveling]... but our little garden is thriving.  This weekend was the first time since the move that things felt like normal life to me.  We must be settling in.  Hope everyone else is enjoying spring too.

Spring in NC is suspiciously summer-like!  We just celebrated Brett's fifth birthday with water table fun, popsicles, and all sorts of adventures.  Can't believe our little baby is such a big kid now!

No updates for a while but as you can guess we got a little busy.  Aric's job start date finally was official, housing was secured, and we were off!

Goodbye freezing-a%% February, hello March. [Like March isn't also freezing]  We are SO ready to migrate south!  A lot of packing and sorting and general chaos around here. February photos have been updated for your viewing pleasure.  Now, who wants to come over with their bubble wrap & tape gun?!

Today - okay, this week - has been craaazy.  We're gearing up to move to North Carolina.  Yes, really.  Yes, in like a month.  No, we aren't insane.  Well, maybe we are.

It's been a long week already... and it's only Tuesday!  I've been furiously working with our webhosting provider to get us back up and running.  Thanks to all of you for sticking with us during this crazy transition.  [Why should now be different than the last almost-seven years?]
